As we wrap up our Art Gallery Week event (12-16 Feburary 2024) we are still amazed by the unique styles and beauty captured by all the local Sheppey Artists who took part. From seasoned veterans, to those just starting out their career, we were blown away by the response from all who took part.

We're thrilled to announce the arrival of Dante or Die's captivating production, "Kiss Marry Kill," at IslandWorks. One of the first visitors to IslandWorks to become a regular coworker is Maria Wilson, of Saxon HR Consultancy. We asked her about her experience of IslandWorks. Maria said, “I really enjoy going there, it’s a lovely place, a really good place to get work done. I don’t get any interruptions. It’s a very peaceful, tranquil place.

As the new year begins, it's a great time to review your business plan and set goals for the future. While some entrepreneurs find planning exhilarating, others find it overwhelming amidst the complexities of running a business. Crafting a concise set of priorities for a business can be challenging considering the numerous components involved.

Staying at home alone limits opportunities for excitement and interest. Some people are luckier because they tend to create opportunities. Who is more lucky. Extroverted people: More time with others, more interesting possibilities. People who are not neurotic are less likely to notice and take advantage of opportunities due to their tense and anxious nature. On November 11th, 2023, our Christmas Craft Fair unfolded as a splendid celebration, combining artistry, music, and charity in the spirit of the season. The event was graced by the enchanting sounds of "Sounds Familiar," an all-female singing choir whose harmonious melodies filled the air, adding an extra layer of magic to the festivities.
