A Festive Celebration: Our Christmas Craft Fair 2023 • IslandWorks

November 12, 2023 · Event Highlights A Festive Celebration: Our Christmas Craft Fair 2023

On November 11th, 2023, our Christmas Craft Fair unfolded as a splendid celebration, combining artistry, music, and charity in the spirit of the season. The event was graced by the enchanting sounds of “Sounds Familiar,” an all-female singing choir whose harmonious melodies filled the air, adding an extra layer of magic to the festivities.

In observance of Armistice Day, we proudly featured donation tins from the Royal British Legion, supporting the Poppy Appeal. This act of remembrance and gratitude allowed our community to come together in solidarity with those who have served and sacrificed.

Further enriching the day, we collaborated with the Salvation Army for an Xmas Gift Donation drive. This heartwarming initiative aimed to spread joy to those less fortunate during the holiday season. The outpouring of generosity from our attendees was truly heartening.

The Craft Fair itself was a treasure trove of creativity, showcasing the diverse talents of artists and crafters from the Isle of Sheppey. The range of unique and exquisite creations was a testament to the rich artistic tapestry of our community.

Special thanks go out to “Sounds Familiar” for gracing us with their exceptional performance, adding an extra layer of magic to the event. Their all-female choir left a lasting impression on all who attended.

As we reflect on this special day, we’re filled with gratitude for the support shown to both the Poppy Appeal and the Salvation Army’s Xmas Gift Donation drive. Together, we’ve demonstrated the power of unity and compassion during this festive season.
