The two-and-a-half year restoration project at the fire-gutted Dockyard Church was completed in June 2023. The project was led by the Sheerness Dockyard Trust, with Hugh Broughton Architects and Martin Ashley Architects as designers and Coniston Ltd as contractors. The project was enabled by a £5.3m grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund – matched by support from a range of other benefactors.
